Jan Cook Wills and Trusts was founded in 2013 by Jan Cook, following a successful and fulfilling career in further education. The business was born from a deeply personal experience—witnessing her own mother lose her hard-earned savings and property to care costs, leaving nothing behind for her family. This experience, coupled with the knowledge Jan gained while managing her own estate planning, ignited a passion for helping others protect their assets and provide for their loved ones.  

In January 2025, the business proudly became a family venture when Jan’s daughter-in-law, Beth, joined the team after a successful career in nursing. Beth brings a wealth of compassion and a natural ability to connect with clients, enhancing the caring and professional service at the heart of our business.

We specialise in offering professional, compassionate guidance in all aspects of estate planning, including Wills, Trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney. We work closely with financial advisors, mortgage brokers, accountants, and estate agents, allowing these professionals to expand their services by integrating estate planning solutions into their own brands. For accountants, we go a step further by offering business protection services to help safeguard their clients' businesses and assets.
